We recently held a deeply moving vigil in honour of Raila Amolo Odinga, and the gathering will remain etched in our collective memory for a long time to come.
The turnout was truly overwhelming. Community members from all walks of life came together in unity, reflection, and respect to honour a leader whose life and legacy have shaped generations. The atmosphere was solemn yet dignified, marked by heartfelt tributes, quiet reflection, and a shared sense of gratitude for a life lived in service.
Celebrating a Life and Enduring Legacy
The vigil was more than a moment of mourning, it was a celebration of leadership, resilience, and vision. Speakers and attendees alike reflected on the ideals that His Excellency stood for, democracy, social justice, and the unwavering belief in a better future for Kenya and its people.
Through stories, prayers, and symbolic gestures, the community honoured not only the man, but the values he championed and the inspiration he continues to provide.
Gratitude to the Community
We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who attended and contributed to the vigil. Your presence, words, and gestures of solidarity transformed the gathering into a powerful expression of collective respect and remembrance. It was a clear reflection of how deeply His Excellency’s leadership resonated across generations and borders.
A Vision That Lives On
As we bid farewell, we do so with the understanding that true leadership does not end with life. The vision, courage, and principles that defined Baba’s journey will continue to guide conversations, movements, and aspirations for years to come.
Rest in peace, Baba.Your legacy endures.Jowie, jowie, jowie.
