Rite of Passage (Youth Programs)

Youth Leadership Workshops

Youth Leadership Workshops

The Rite of Passage (Youth Programs) is a structured youth development initiative by Kenyans in Queensland (KIQ), designed to support young people as they transition through key stages of growth, identity formation, and leadership development.

Rooted in cultural values and contemporary life skills, this program provides young people with guidance, mentorship, and positive role models to help them grow into confident, responsible, and community-minded individuals. It recognises the importance of identity, belonging, and direction during formative years, especially for young people growing up between cultures.

The program blends cultural grounding with practical life skills, creating a balanced and supportive pathway into adulthood.
